Tuesday morning blog 3/16/2026

Good morning, my lovely readers! I hope this message finds you in great spirits. I've been incredibly busy lately with our home remodel, but it's been a labor of love. We're carefully selecting every detail to ensure that the space turns out absolutely stunning. Each day, we take our time to create a warm and inviting environment we can all enjoy. I can't wait to share the transformation with you!

This weekend at Spiritual Uplifts

We offer a "Make Your Own Lucky Candle" experience. Please make an appointment to ensure that the candle bar is set up for you. Additionally, we have a Mermaid Sound Bath with limited seating available; the last day to sign up is Thursday. To schedule an appointment, please call or text either 904-292-4555 or 904-303-2147.

Respect Yourself Enough to Step Back

One of the hardest life lessons is knowing when to distance yourself from others. We often give people the benefit of the doubt, hoping their hurtful words or actions are just misunderstandings. However, when someone consistently shows you who they are, believing them is essential.

Respecting yourself means recognizing when someone disrespects your boundaries or dismisses your feelings. It's not your job to keep proving your worth; sometimes, stepping back is necessary. This isn't about revenge or giving up—it's about protecting your peace and understanding that your time and energy are valuable.

Creating distance can be an act of self-care, allowing you to focus on relationships that uplift you. People earn closeness through trust, kindness, and consistency. When those qualities are missing, setting boundaries reinforces your standards for treatment.

Ultimately, believing someone when they reveal their true character is realistic, not pessimistic. Acting on that truth is a powerful decision: protecting your peace rather than negotiating for it.
