Being True to Yourself: Tuesday Morning with Lynn

Written by Lynn Pritchard March 3, 2026

Hello everyone, it's Lynn! I've been really busy at the store lately. In about two weeks, we have some exciting new things happening that I can't wait for you to see. Stay tuned!

This week at Spiritual Uplifts, we have more mining buckets available. Additionally, you can call to make an appointment or walk in to create a candle. I also have open availability for readings. Cory will be available this Saturday for healings.

Being true to yourself means embracing your authentic identity and honoring your values, feelings, and beliefs — even when faced with external pressures. It means staying grounded in who you are, allowing your uniqueness to shine, and making choices that genuinely reflect your innermost self. In a world where conformity often prevails, being true to yourself is an empowering journey of self-discovery and confidence that leads to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Over the past two years, I have learned so much about myself. I have learned to rely on myself and trust my own judgment. From now on, I will never make decisions based solely on what others need without first ensuring that my own needs are met. The first step to being true to yourself is putting yourself first — not selfishly, but in a healthy, balanced way.

The values I prioritize in people are honesty, respect, and loyalty. To receive these qualities from others, I must first embody them within myself.

Honesty:

Be honest with yourself. Accept both the good and the bad within you, and be willing to make changes where growth is needed.

Respect:

Respect yourself by not being so hard on yourself. Accept praise. Acknowledge what you have done well. Speak to yourself with kindness.

Loyalty:

Be loyal to yourself by honoring your needs and boundaries. Do not constantly place others above your own well-being. One of the biggest lessons I have learned is that when I started putting myself first, I became healthier and happier, and my life began to improve in every area.

You must be honest with yourself, respect yourself, and remain loyal to yourself. When you do, everything begins to align.
