I just wanted to share some exciting updates! Our store has been super busy lately, and we're remodeling the back area to create a larger shopping space. It's going to be amazing!
I also want to give a huge shoutout to Bre! She's been doing an incredible job as she prepares to welcome her little one into the world. We're all so proud of her!
The store looks fantastic, and I appreciate everyone's efforts to keep everything well-maintained. We've also added a wonderful new team member, Christy! She's a real gem, so be sure to say hi and give her a warm welcome when you stop by. Let's do our best to make her feel at home! Thanks for being such a great community! Can't wait to see you all soon!
This week at Spiritual Uplifts
Starting this week, we are offering Sunday Specials on mining buckets. Currently, we have paused Wellness Tuesdays due to remodeling in the back. However, we are still open for business! If you need to book an appointment for a reading or want to check out our new inventory, feel free to come in and see us. We have just received some exciting new items! Most importantly, don't forget to sign up for the Merimaid sound bath next Saturday, March 21st.
Why Progress Matters More Than Competition
Some mornings I start my day feeling positive and focused, ready to take on whatever comes my way. But when you own a business, you know how quickly that energy can get tested. Something always pops up—an unexpected challenge, a difficult decision, or sometimes even competitors who seem more focused on what you're doing than on finding their own path.
Over time, I've learned something important: you can't spend your energy looking back. There will always be people who try to follow too closely, copy what works, or position themselves right beside you instead of building something of their own. Honestly, I sometimes feel pity for them, because creativity and originality are what truly build lasting success.
My mindset has become simple: don't look back—look straight ahead.
What you learn from the past and from people along the way should push you forward, not hold you back. Every experience, good or bad, teaches you something valuable. The key is to use those lessons as fuel for growth instead of distractions.
For me, progress is what creates happiness. The more I build, the more I create, the more I move forward, the better I feel. Progress gives purpose to the work. It reminds me of why I started in the first place.
So when challenges appear—and they will—I remind myself of one thing: keep moving forward. Focus on improving, creating, and growing because real success doesn't come from watching others.
It comes from becoming better than you were yesterday.
We love you all, Lynn. Please show your appreciation by giving us a 5-star Google review. Thank you!
